SIAs CP Invite

by msecadm4921

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is inviting Close Protection people to register their interest in attending a meeting with the SIA and other representatives from their sector.

The regulator says that it is an opportunity for those in the close protection sector to engage with the SIA and others in the industry, to act as a contributor to the meetings and discuss topical issues such as regulation and SIA developments. The SIA will arrange and facilitate the first meeting, after which it is anticipated that this new interest group will self-manage later meetings.

The network meeting will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009, in central London. To express an interest in attending the meeting please visit www.the-sia.org.uk/cp-network by Friday, November 28. Registering an interest to attend does not guarantee a place at the meeting. Places will be confirmed by December 15. There is no charge for this event and lunch will be provided.
