Threat Solutions

by msecadm4921

Vision Systems is offering its Millbank voice alarm product to new and existing VESDA smoke detection and ADPRO video security customers .

Gordon MacSween, Managing Director at Vision Systems, says: "We are already market leaders in detecting threats with our VESDA range of very early warning smoke detectors and our ADPRO range of video security systems. Our next step will be to further integrate the Millbank voice response products to complement our offering by adding a response capability. This may be the automatic announcement of a staged evacuation in the event of a fire or preventing damage or loss by telling an intruder that they have been detected, police called and for them to leave the premises.” Neil Voce, Sales and Business Development Director Voice Response Systems at Vision Systems, says; "We are responding to a need among our customers for an integrated early warning solution. Indeed, we can see significant revenue opportunities to be gained from a truly integrated systems approach over the coming years.” Recently, the Welsh Assembly Halls in Cardiff had both the VESDA aspirating smoke detector and the Millbank voice alarm product installed as an early warning and response. Harrods in Knightsbridge has both the VESDA and Millbank installed. Most recently the systems have been specified for Allen & Overy Solicitors’ new central London based HQ. This features as part of the Bishops Square development in Spitalfields, London. Visit
