Tracking Assets

TISCOR, a mobile workforce automation software manufacturer, has released six new software applications for tracking assets, tools, general files, inventory, legal evidence documents, and laboratory equipment.

Each application uses mobile hand-held computing technology. The tracking systems operate using TISCOR’s software, hand-held computers and bar codes. The products eliminate hand-written log sheets and time-consuming data entry as users enter information onto mobile hand-held devices and then upload the data to a PC database. The tracking product line features:

Asset Track, a system designed to track the receiving, storing and disbursing of assets. The system provides information on asset quantities and location of assets within the building. The product helps to manage computers and related equipment, machinery, furniture, equipment, vehicles and more.
<br><br>
Tool Track, a system designed to record the movement of any type of tools or supplies in and out of a tool room. The product time-and-date stamps each transaction, identifies the individual who borrowed a specific tool, tracks check-out tools to a specific location, and tracks supply quantities.
<br><br>
File Track, a system designed to record the movement of files through systems such as those maintained by law firms, courthouses, insurance companies and doctors’ offices. The product tracks files by description, location, client, type and more.

Inventory Track, a system designed to record the movement of any type of inventory in a warehouse or stockroom. The product tracks the receiving, storing and disbursing of inventory items, and provides information on inventory levels and the location of inventory.

Evidence Track, a system designed to record the movement of legal evidence in and out of inventory. The product tracks the receiving, storing, releasing and logging of evidence in accordance with departmental procedures, city ordinances and state and federal laws. Evidence Track documents Chain of Custody including the user’s identification, case number, case information, officer identification, subject data, owner facts, attorney information, and check-in/check-out transactions.

Lab Track, a system used to record the movement of vials, tubes or specimen slides within a laboratory. The application time and date stamps each transaction, identifies the individual in possession of an item, tracks equipment to a specific location, and tracks items by specific information such as a physician’s or patient’s name. Lab Track improves accuracy in managing lab items, and increases employee accountability. Additional information is available at site.
