Vandal-resistant Domes

by msecadm4921

Pecan CCTV has launched the VRD141 Series ‚Äì a vandal-resistant True Day/Night (TDN) dome with On Screen Display (OSD) technology….

This new 600TV lines one-third inch Sony Super HAD II CCD colour-mono dome follows the recent launch of the VRD146 Series. While its external appearance is similar to its slightly larger ‘sister’, the VRD141 has a different internal build with the manufacturers say an even higher specification and IP68 rating for submersion under water. The dome is fitted with a 2.8-12mm F1.2 DC auto iris lens which is more sensitive in low light and the vandal-resistant housing is designed to withstand the harshest conditions, it is claimed. The VRD141 also features enhanced Digital Noise Reduction (3DNR), a Highlight Masking function (HLM), six-zone Privacy function and 240-zone Motion Detection, a Digital Image Stabiliser (DIS), Lens Shading Compensation (LSC) plus 10 x digital zoom plus Digital Wide Dynamic Range (DWDR). An IR LED option (VRD141L) provides accurate night time viewing coverage of up to 15m. The dual voltage (12v DC/24v AC) VRD141 Series is the makers say simple to set up with a three-axis internal camera adjustment and OSD joystick controls. ?
