A recruitment agency has a new online facility that details relevant skills and experiences of security staff nationwide.
Many of them are vetted, trained and immediately available, the firm says.
Central Recruitment UK, based in London, was launched in May by Droitwich-based Train 4 Security.
Since its launch, according to the firm, Central Recruitment has secured a number of high profile accounts, handling the recruitment process for companies including security giant, Group 4 Securicor.

Catherine Hughes, Managing Director of Central Recruitment said: "By giving companies direct access to a list of trained security professionals, our aim is to provide an efficient and time-saving recruitment process. As the industry continues to expand – there are an estimated half a million security operatives in the country – so must the supply of trained staff. By launching this new facility we hope that staffing shortages and gaps in productivity will be reduced and the health and reputation of the security industry enhanced."
