The Sintony 60 intrusion detection system for homes and small commercial premises has a new range of detectors and accessories.
It includes a number of new wireless detectors, including a 360 degrees PIR ceiling mount, a glass break detector, a flood detector with adjustable sensor cable length up to 2m, and a VdS and EN approved smoke detector with optical smoke chamber. A new external quad band GSM module enables SMS messages to be sent to pre-programmed mobile phone numbers. The module can also transmit CID alarm protocols over telephone networks or TCP/IP over GPRS. The module provides system redundancy, as it can work as an independent back-up transmission unit if the telephone line is down or the connection between panel and GSM unit gets interrupted. A new audio verification module enables connection to a central monitoring station (CMS), with extra capacity to store 90 seconds of voice messages that can be used to call for help or to support remote control functions. It comes with full two way communication and a ‘listen in’ function to provide a communication point for audio alarm verification to combat false alarms.
New colours have been added to increase the potential for tailoring color schemes to customers’ specific requirements. Remote controls are available in ten colors to match a range of interior designs.
