ASIS winter seminar

by Mark Rowe

The security management body ASIS UK closes its 2015 with the quarterly seminar, with AGM, on December 10. It’s hosted by State Street Bank, at 20 Churchill Place, London E14 5HJ.

As lately, the format is an early afternoon start, the idea being that you can put some work in at the office first thing, rather than have the working day taken up more or less with an event that runs from the morning. Registration is from 1.30pm, and the AGM from 2pm. As ever the event will close at about 5.45pm with drinks and canapes and time to do some networking.

The invited speakers include Alan Clamp, pictured, the new Chief Executive of the regulator the Security Industry Authority, giving an update; Steve Mellings and Martin Burke on IT asset recovery; and Dr Martin Langham, offering a user perspective on ‘Human Factors in Security’.
