Course booking portal

by Mark Rowe

StoneHawk offers a four-hour training course in awareness of smash and grab robberies. It’s delivered nationally at a retailer’s showroom or training suite and is available to businesses of any size. The training company has launched an online portal for booking the course.

Simon Wilson, pictured, MD of StoneHawk says: ‘Due to the high demand for our #StopSmashandGrabs course, we have launched the option for our clients to book their course online. Clients are able to choose their preferred date / time and our agreed 10 per cent discount to fellow NAJ members is acknowledged at the time of booking. It has been another excellent year for StoneHawk and we have already secured excellent contracts for 2019. StoneHawk continues to make a difference to the retail sector by strengthening full staff teams against armed robbery.’

By raising the awareness of whole staff teams the criminals are driven elsewhere, and should a robbery occur the staff are prepared to take the right action, the trainers suggest.

Stonehawk makes the point that violence and use of weapons are on the increase in robberies against the retail sector. Training as part of ‘target hardening’ by retailers, can protect staff, against stock, staff loss and trauma, the firm adds.
