Free CPD events

by Mark Rowe

The Wigan-based life-safety systems manufacturer, C-TEC, is rolling out another series of free CPD training events. They’re aimed at anyone working in the fire safety, housing, consulting or risk assessment sectors, and covering the latest legislation, technology and trends.

Worth four hours of Continuing Professional Development time, they will be held at seven locations across the UK from September to November 2022 and feature:

– Integrated Fire Alarm Solutions for High Rise Residential Buildings;
– A Guide to BS 8629-2019 Evacuation Alert Systems;
– Reducing false alarms – how the type, location and settings of fire detectors can significantly reduce the incidence of unwanted alarms; and
– Hearing Assistance Solutions: the Route to Equality Act Compliance

Each will run from 10am to 3pm with registration starting at 9.30am. Refreshments and lunch will also be provided.

Andy Green, C-TEC’s Marketing Manager said: “We are delighted to be launching another series of CPD events which are designed to be of interest to anyone involved in the specification and installation of life safety systems particularly housing professionals, fire engineers and consultants. Demand is expected to be high so we would advise anyone who is interested to register their interest quickly.”

Locations include Cardiff, Glasgow, London, Wigan, Bradford, Belfast and Birmingham. To reserve a place (subject to availability), visit www.c-tec.com.
