Institute in Dubai

by Mark Rowe

The Security Institute and Dubai Police Academy are holding a joint morning event in Dubai on February 20.

Organisers of the event call it an opportunity for security professionals working in the United Arab Emirates and region to network, and as it is being hosted and sponsored by the Dubai Police Academy, there is no charge for attendance. Institute member guests are also welcome.

The Security Institute is based in the UK but open to security professionals worldwide. All of the 1,200 members have undergone a personal validation process by a peer review group in order to join. The institute offers member benefits, including a distance learning programme, newsletters, a continuing professional development scheme and mentoring for personal development. Security Institute Vice-Chairman Emma Shaw CSyP will meet existing Institute members, and welcome the guests of the Dubai Police Academy.
