Warsaw conference: Security the key to business

Business and corporate security issues are on the agenda in Poland later this month.

The fifth business security conference, titled ‘Security the key to business’ runs on October 24 and 25, run by consultancy and training company SASMA in Warsaw. Visit www.sas-ma.org.

Among the speakers

On day one, countering counterfeit medicines is the subject for David Shore, Pfizer, Director of Global Security (EMEA). Alan Brown, CSO (chief security officer) for Tesco will pose the question: why is retail security always considered to be a support function as opposed to being a critical function? And Crawford Robinson, Group Security, BAT (British-American Tobacco) will speak on European risks and threats.

On day two, Declan O’Donovan, Global Security Director EMEA-Global Travel and Intelligence, Cummins, will cover travel security; and Alexander Schol, of the Dutch-based European policing body Europol, will discuss cyber crime. Other speakers come from across Europe.
