Drone Detector in EMEA

by Mark Rowe

Drone Labs, creator of the Drone Detector product, announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with CDS Group, a UK-based cyber and security consultancy. CDS will be the sole distributor for the detector in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

CDS Group is comprised of CDS Consultancy and CDS Marine. The firms say that large ships and super yachts have begun looking to further augment security and privacy by insuring that intrusive drones are detected and kept at bay.

CDS works with several resellers; Antidrone in Poland (http://www.anti-drone.pl/) and LedinEdge Communications in Ireland (http://www.ledinedge.com), among others.

Leigh Mason, CDS Group CEO, said: “We are excited to add drone detection to our list of competencies. This market is just starting to take off, and we’re pleased to be in at ground level with what we consider to be the most cost effective, premier detection technology available today.”

Mason, with Drone Labs’ CEO, Zain Naboulsi, is a member of the Drone Countermeasures Thinktank at Gavin de Becker & Associates, a 520-member firm that provides protective security, logistical support, and advice to public figures, government officials, police, universities, corporations, and at-risk individuals. Via this influential group, the Drone Detector solution has been presented to law enforcement and security officials. Visit http://cyberdefence.solutions/about-cds/.
