Hadrian goes north

by Mark Rowe

The Retailers Against Crime (RAC) conference runs in Glasgow on Thursday, September 5; and the North East based CCTV specialist, Hadrian Technology, is demonstrating CCTV.

The RAC’s annual conference will be held at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Hadrian Technology, provider of High Definition Serial Digital Interface (HD-SDI) CCTV, will be demonstrating a CCTV system that provides an image quality that is the firm says better than Sky HD, using cameras from the Concept Pro range. Hadrian Technology, based in Sunderland, supplies, installs and maintains CCTV systems for retail, leisure and domestic customers, and operates in the UK and Ireland.

Gary Trotter, general manager at Hadrian Technology said: “We are looking forward to showing people at the RAC conference the difference between traditional analogue images and the HD-SDI quality pictures generated from the systems that we install. We also have the ability to link our CCTV systems up with an app that can be accessed on a smart phone or tablet, which has proved popular with retailers who need to be aware of what’s happening in specific parts of their shop, stock room or grounds.”

And Maxine Fraser, national operations director for RAC, said: “We are an established national retail crime partnership, owned and driven by our members. It’s events like this which help new and expanding businesses become aware of what their options are when it comes to choosing a security system. Talking to people and seeing what they can offer makes it easier for businesses to choose what is right for them. It’s fantastic that we have an industry leader like Hadrian Technology exhibiting at the event.”

Alongside Hadrian, companies which provide alarm systems, sensors and fraud prevention services will be appearing at the conference. The programme includes key note speakers from Police Scotland, Crimestoppers, the Bank of England and Scotland as well as The Security Company.
