The contractor Kingdom has acquired Luton-based company Ocean. It’s a facilities management provider.
Their services include cleaning and hygiene, fire & security, support services, technical services, food service, project management and consultancy. They work for the public and private sectors. Their client base includes some of the largest purchasers of facilities management services in the country, ranging from global business brands and city firms in the private sector to local authorities, non-departmental public bodies and educational facilities in the public.
The business was established over 40 years ago and has been run by John Bullivant for over 20 years. They now have a £20m turnover, three offices across the UK and 2200 staff. They are committed to recruiting, training and developing the best and most passionate people in the facilities management sector. The acquisition continues the expansion of Kingdom to £105m turnover and 5,600 people.
