Milestone Systems, the IP video management software (VMS) company, hosted more than 100 of its UK partners and customers at its new UK & Ireland headquarters in Green Park, Reading on April 28.
Chris Whitting, General Manager, UK & Ireland, Milestone Systems, said: โIt is great to celebrate this important stage in Milestoneโs development in the UK by moving into new offices at Green Park in Reading on the M4 โSilicon Corridorโ. It marks the beginning of a significantly increased investment in supporting our partners in the UK and Ireland doing more business with us. Partners are welcome to use our state-of-art demo facilities to help train their people in our technologies and demonstrate solutions to prospective customers.โ
Milestone VP EMEA Thomas Lausten, pictured speaking, and Chris Whitting talked about the Danish firmโs strategy for the region. The company says that itโs increasing its support for key distribution partners, and creating initiatives to accelerate more growth for what it calls the partner ecosystem in this region.
Milestone also reported interest for its Husky Series of pre-configured NVRs launched a year ago. The Milestone Husky M10 is for entry-level surveillance, while the Husky M30 and M50 are for larger surveillance and storage needs.
Milestone UK has recruited Peter Greener, Channel Business Manager for the North of the UK. Peter was previously Business Development Manager โ IP CCTV at the distributor Norbain. Milestone adds that it plans to recruit two additional members of staff in the coming months.
