RAC awards

For more on the Retailers Against Crime (RAC) annual conference in Glasgow see the October print issue of Professional Security Magazine.

At the September 5 event at Glasgow Caledonian University, RAC gave out annual awards. RAC’s first award was presented in 2010 to John Makin from USC for his outstanding contribution to RAC.

National operations director of RAC, based in Stirling, Maxine Fraser, said that these awards are only given once to any members and this year were presented 11 to staff and security in recognition of their individual outstanding contribution and commitment to RAC over the years.

Northern Ireland

Keith Woodward and Team – Marks and Spencer.

Scotland
Mike Munro – Sainsburys
Darren Jackson – Boots
Richard Potts – Asda
Mandy Lindsay – Debenhams
Peter Quigley – Asda
Robert Day – House of Bruar
Jennifer Taylor – Marks & Spencer

North West England
Darren Little – Boots.
