by Mark Rowe

The UK Retail Fraud Survey 2015 will be sponsored by WIS International, the inventory and data collection services company. The survey, launched in 2009, is based on primary research into the systems, processes and strategies used by 100 of the UK’s top retailers. It provides a picture of the evolving fraud facing retailers, say organisers. It allows retailers to improve key business processes and practices, and inevitably improve their bottom lines.

Paul Bessant of Retail Knowledge, publishers of the survey, said of WIS International’s support the UK survey: “They join a list of innovative, thought leading companies who support this important work for the greater good of the retail risk and loss prevention communities around the world. We are very pleased to be working with them.”

And Geoff Chaplin, Managing Director of WIS International added: “We are very pleased to support the UK Retail Fraud Survey, which provides important opportunities to help retailers in their fight against crime. Knowing the trends and keeping tuned-in to the current threats merchants are dealing with helps the entire industry stay ahead of the increasing hazards of fraud.”

A briefing for participating retailers will be held at Retail Fraud – London, the retail risk and loss prevention event,in April 2015. If you are a retailer with an interest email [email protected].
