Sponsorship deal

by Mark Rowe

The west country-based security company Securi-Guard has agreed a sponsorship deal with its local Football League club, Plymouth Argyle Football Club.

The fire and security firm has joined the League Two club’s ‘Pilgrim Partnership’ sponsorship package, which will run for the 2014-15 season.

Securi-Guard already provides fire and intruder alarm maintenance and monitoring services to the club, as well as CCTV at Argyle’s ground, Home Park.

The company has a sporting pedigree in the city, providing sponsorship and fire and security services for the rugby club Plymouth Albion. It has renewed its sponsorship deal there for the coming season.

Scott Boyd, Managing Director of Securi-Guard Fire and Security, said: “Plymouth Argyle has made its sponsorship packages very attractive and I am delighted we will be part of what I hope will be a very successful season for the club, both on and off the field. It does present a great opportunity to promote our extensive range of fire and security solutions to a wider audience and take advantage of corporate hospitality for our clients.”

As part of the sponsorship, Securi-Guard will be match day sponsors for the home game against AFC Wimbledon on April 14 next year when representatives of the company will be invited to a champagne reception, tour of the ground and pre-match meal. The package also includes the chance to welcome the teams onto the pitch and present the man of the match award.

Securi-Guard will also be match ball sponsors at home on December 28 against Oxford and the match programme sponsors for February 14 match against Cambridge. Visit www.securi-guard.co.uk.
