Dallmeier, the German manufacturer of video products such as the Panomera multifocal sensor camera, has set up a national subsidiary company in Austria. Dallmeier Austria in a recently opened branch in Kirchberg an der Raab will support installers and security service providers from pre-sales consulting to technical support, including 24×7 service for contract customers.
Customers such as the PlusCity shopping centre in Linz, the “Österreichische Landesbanken”, Holzindustrie Papst or Hipp Austria have been using on video security systems from Dallmeier for years. The patented Panomera cameras combine several video sensors with different focal lengths in one optical unit, Panomera reduces the number of cameras required many times over compared to conventional solutions, while the Domera family of cameras, pictured, launched last year, covers almost all “classic” video security applications, the company adds.
Dallmeier offers cameras, recording, video analysis and software solutions for a range of applications. They can be used as complete Dallmeier solutions or via open interfaces such as ONVIF with a variety of third party-systems. There are also integrations with numerous security and analytics systems as well as with VMS (video management software) and PSIM (physical security information management) systems such as Milestone Systems, Genetec or Advancis.
Dallmeier Austria serves customers through a partner programme. Based near Graz, the company offers for larger projects, the Dallmeier 3D planning service to define all details of their future system using a “digital twin” before a project. During the Factory Acceptance Test, a system is put through its paces before being handed over, and Dallmeier Austria also offers the necessary support during operation. That the parent company is nearby in Regensburg also aids support and project management, the company adds.
