Distributor’s rebranding

by Mark Rowe

To mark its 20th year of trading the CCTV distributor Videcon has announced new corporate branding. The company says 2015 has been a very positive year so far. In April, it completed a management buy-out, which marked a chapter for the business. The firm also made a return to exhibit at IFSEC, launching an update to its in-house line of security products, the Concept Pro range, pictured. This included a number of new IP CCTV products and the introduction of an AHD CCTV platform.

According to the company the new brand aims to reflect its evolution from starting trading in October 1995, growing into a business of 60-plus employees and a central distribution centre with a stock-holding worth over £2.5m.

Lindsay Phillips, Marketing Manager, said: “With all the positive changes this year, such as the MBO and a successful return to IFSEC, we felt now is the perfect time that our identity better reflects who we are as a company.”

The new brand will take effect from October 5.
