Dual lights in one camera housing

New from Weston Distribution are a set of cameras offering what the Leeds-based distributor calls an industry first; dual light concept Infra-Red and White Light LEDs in one camera housing.

The new Gemina range covers analogue, AHD, IP and HDSDI. Eyeball and bullet design cameras with twin Gen III LEDs and Twin White Light LEDs work on inbuilt detection within the camera, that are fully programable for movement threshold, size and hold off time. These cameras offer the firm says a double benefit of Infra-Red clear lighting and colour at night over distance. Installing the Gemini range also offers benefits to users, the firm adds, as the cameras can serve as ‘welcome home’ lighting to brighten dark areas whilst scaring away intruders with bright white lights.

These cameras are packaged into a standard bullet or eyeball design with split leads and USB external test and set up points. For a short (17-second) video a customer sent showing the analogue version in action, visit Youtube.
