Transmission deal

by msecadm4921

Vemotion Interactive, the live video transmission product company, announced a partnership with icomply. The firms say that icomply customers can transmit quality live video over it’s claimed small bandwidth by using 3G and GPRS.

icomply enable control rooms to integrate multiple unconnected CCTV and security applications into one unified front-end via their Graphical User Interface (GUI).  Their Physical Security Information Management software, V-TAS Pro, by integrating Vemotion software, lets control room operators select CCTV images from remote locations into the front-end GUI, as they would any other directly connected camera on their system.  This can work alongside modules such as alarm receiving or guard tour software.

“Our work with Vemotion is very exciting.  By integrating Vemotion’s technology directly into our front-end, we offer increased flexibility in the monitoring of remote sites,” said Steven Olbison, System Sales and Marketing Executive at icomply.  And Stewart McCone, Managing Director of Vemotion Interactive Ltd, said: “Vemotion’s highly efficient H.264 based video compression is optimised for very low bandwidths, meaning live video will be delivered reliably, even from the most challenging areas.  We are delighted to be working with icomply. The projects we have deployed to date have clearly benefited from our ability to control the bandwidth used at any time, which means the client is in complete control.”As with all transmission technologies, seeing is believing.  Contact Vemotion for a demonstration or visit their stand at IFSEC 2012 at the NEC, Birmingham, Hall 5, Stand B77.
