Pro-Vision Distribution, the UK distributor of branded CCTV and access control equipment, has recently introduced new tools features to its website http://www.provision-cctv.com.
Simon Davies, Internal Sales Manager for Pro-Vision says: “The first tool is a simple field of view lens calculator that helps to identify the correct lens requirement for a box, dome or bullet camera. Then there’s a watt/volt/amp tool where, if you can provide two of the three required elements, the screen will display the third.”
The Shrewsbury-based distributor has added a storage calculator to provide basic data based on the number of cameras and the chosen compression method. This tool can provide an overview based on certain criteria but if a more detailed analysis is required for a particular model of network or digital recorder.
