Control centre service

by Mark Rowe

Amulet, the security arm of the contract services company Churchill Group, has relocated its core security control hub. The contractor says that its new Command, Control and Intelligence Centre (CCIC) will enable the company to enhance its services from one central location. Amulet points also to its partnership with its intelligence provider, The Senate Group; hence the locating of the CCIC at Senate’s own National Operations Centre.

Darren Read, managing director at Amulet, said: “This move symbolises the direction Amulet is proudly heading in. We are growing rapidly and enjoying every success. The CCIC will enable us to develop our services further and continue to position Amulet as a leading security provider in the UK.”

Amulet says that it will now be able to better tailor services to meet specific client needs. Features of the CCIC include intelligent monitoring and reporting, 24/7 major incident response, lone worker protection and twin-layer back-up resilience.

The contractor says that having access to intelligence and risk analysis allows for the delivery of relevant solutions, specific to each customer. The firm speaks of the CCIC offering an end-to-end service, taking an analytical approach in designing a solution, taking control in monitoring it and then working to improve it. Amulet was named as winners of the ‘Partners in Expert Services – Public Sector’ award at the PFM Partnership Awards and recognised as Security Guarding Company of the Year over £25m Turnover at the Security and Fire Excellence Awards in November 2019.
