Corps business development director

by Mark Rowe

Zara Doughty has joined Corps Security as its business development director.

Zara has worked in the security industry since 2005. With particular knowledge of the London area and its security needs, she will promote Corps Security’s specialist services to companies and organisations in the area.

Zara said: ‘I’ve long admired Corps Security’s dedication to providing specialised security services of unrivalled quality. Having previously worked for companies that have decided to offer total facilities management, I strongly believe that security is quite unlike any other service that a facilities manager has to procure and there is significant peace of mind to be had from knowing that a trained and qualified professional is on hand to deal with a situation. Corps Security undoubtedly sets the standard for others to follow and I’m delighted to have an opportunity to contribute to its on-going success.’

Corps Security offers manned guarding, remote monitoring and other security related services, and she will also give attention to enhancing demand for the company’s concierge based offering – an area that has the firm says potential among the capital’s blue chip organisations.

She added: ‘Concierge and front of house-based operatives are the most visible presence in any business and it is vital that personnel employed adhere to a company’s image and branding, whilst achieving the perfect balance of being personable while keeping the premises secure. Corps Security’s ability to provide smartly dressed, well-spoken and highly trained personnel is already proving popular and is something that I am looking forward to building upon.’

Corps Security’s chief executive, Peter Webster, added: ‘It gives me enormous pleasure to welcome Zara to the company. Not only does she have excellent credentials, she is bursting with ideas about how we can take the business to the next level. I’m therefore confident that her drive, enthusiasm and ambition will help Corps Security achieve all of its strategic objectives both now and in the future.’
