The Nottingham-based guarding company Foremost Security has been awarded a place on the ESPO framework 347 – Security Services, which covers key holding and response services, manned guarding and mobile patrols.
ESPO is a public sector procurement organisation, with a catalogue of 25,000 products and services and a network of 120 national frameworks, from shelving to street lighting, signs and shredding, and including one for security services; besides a separate one for surveillance equipment. An estimated £1 billion is spent through ESPO each year.
Like all of the suppliers on the ESPO framework, Foremost underwent an extensive and detailed tender process which assessed price and quality factors. The tender also took into account the company’s accreditations from bodies such as the UK guarding sector regulator the Security Industry Authority (SIA), showing Foremost Security’s ability to provide a fit and proper service. The process also examined Foremost’s standards in providing security services and delivering a quality service for its customers.
Paul Ritchie, Foremost’s Managing Director, pictured, said: “Having our tender for the ESPO framework accepted is a major achievement for Foremost. Every member of our team has a passion for delivering a quality security service and working with our customers to build trust. Having our tender accepted is a credit to the hard work and dedication that everyone puts in to the business.”
By being awarded a place on the ESPO framework, Foremost says it will be in a strong position to be appointed on a direct call-off basis or via further competitions on public sector security projects, which will enable the company to develop its profile in the East Midlands further. response.
