Health accreditation

Norwich-based security services company, GSL Dardan, has recently been accredited to British Standard ISO 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety). The standard demonstrates that GSL Dardan has a robust and auditable health and safety management system in place, which will also save the company time on pre-qualification for tenders.

ISO 18001 addresses a number of key health and safety areas, which include: planning for hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control, structure and responsibility, training awareness and competence, operational control and performance measuring, monitoring and improvement.

Chris Collings, Commercial Manager for GSL Dardan, said: “We are pleased that our Safety Management System is now accredited to the BS/EN/ISO standard 18001. For clients, this represents reassurance that they’re in safe hands and for our team, that our Safety Management is recognised as world class.”

The company aims to be accredited to Standard ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) by end of July 2012. For further information – email [email protected] or visit www.gsldardan.co.uk
