AVer, the CCTV product company, has launched its first 3-megapixel IP network camera, the FX3000-R. This box type network camera streams images at resolutions exceeding full HD1080p andcan the makers say handle complicated lighting via its True WDR (wide dynamic range).
The camera’s 3-megapixel camera sensor allows for high definition image capturing up to QXGA resolution (2048 x 1536), making it easier the makers say to observe fine detail. AVer’s all-new sensor-based wide dynamic range (WDR) is available exclusively with FX3000-R and it manages intense glare, harsh backlighting and similarly challenging lighting to capture objects clearly.
The region of interest (ROI) and smart stream functions in this and some other select AVer IP cameras allow security users to make best use of bandwidth and storage through targeted image capturing. What the makers term plug and play support provides for use with AVer HD NVRs and hybrid DVRs. The camera also comes with a mechanical IR-cut filter for day and night use and is EN50130-4 certified, showing surge and electro-thermal resistance.
