IDIS, the IP video product manufacturer, has launched IDIS Mobile. It’s a mobile surveillance app for iOS and Android-based devices. IDIS Mobile is a free software client designed for use with the company’s DirectIP network CCTV recorders and cameras, providing live video viewing, pan and tilt control of network cameras, search and playback of video and working from mobile devices.

IDIS Mobile works over 3G, LTE and Wi-Fi connections, and lets a user view and control CCTV at remote sites from anywhere with an internet connection. The app provides camera registration, configuration and play back besides features including push notification, event and calendar search, two-way audio and live image capture. meras complete with network accessories and a bundled VMS platform.
