New from Axis Communications, a panoramic mini dome with built-in microphone and speaker. The M3037-PVE network camera offers several viewing modes, including a 360 degree overview, a 270 degree corner view, and dewarped panoramic views and quad views.
The M3037-PVE provides multi-megapixel image quality in panoramic views, including a 180 degree view from a wall-mounted position. As for installation, the compact camera is factory-focused and powered using Power over Ethernet (PoE).
The new camera is according to the Swedish makers suited for installations where audio communication is needed, such as at the entrance of a hotel, boutique, restaurant or office building. The M3037-PVE supports Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for IP phone system integration, allowing operators and persons near the camera to communicate with each other, via the IP phone.
The camera supports AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP) andAXIS Video Hosting System, as well as open programming interfaces for software integration, including VAPIX and ONVIF. The product is available through Axis distribution channels.
