RFID upgrade kit

by Mark Rowe

Checkpoint Systems, Inc, the US-based supplier of merchandise security products, announced an RFID upgrade kit for its EVOLVE iRange P10 antennas. According to the product firm this gives retailers a migration to RFID by enabling the use of a single tag for inventory visibility and loss prevention. The upgrade kit is fitted by Checkpoint Systems service technicians to existing or new P10 antennas.

Stores can monitor inventory more closely and replenish “true” out of stocks, so items they seek will be available on shelves when purchasing online through click and collect, or buying directly in stores. Uwe Sydon, Senior Vice President of Innovation, Checkpoint Systems, said: “Technology should make life easier for both consumers and retailers. Checkpoint’s RFID upgrade kits accomplish this, with simple implementation and proven loss prevention and merchandise availability benefits that help everyone.”
