Workforce Management

Software for installers

by Mark Rowe

A new job sheet app designed for security installers has been developed by a software company.

Clik Jobs is an Android and iPhone app which allows engineers to link with their Clik Service database whilst on-the-move, giving them access to their job sheets.
Clik Jobs provides a way to select and modify jobs from your job list allowing users to add time items, material items, equipment and documents to jobs, while away from the office.

The product allows the user attach photos to job sheets and take a customer’s signature once the job is complete. A user can create jobs on a device and synchronise them back to the office for those times that a job starts unexpectedly while away from the office. If the engineer wants to, they can dictate the job into the microphone on their Android device or iPhone and have their entry automatically typed for them.
The app has been designed say the designers Clik to work almost completely without an active Internet connection, so users can modify jobs even in remote.

Geoff Adams, Managing Director said: “All Clik products are designed to improve efficiency, productivity and save money – that’s what our customers want and need. Long gone are the days of paper-based job sheets, illegible handwriting and delays passing on jobs that need to be completed by a second engineer. Efficiency is improved with Clik Jobs, the engineer’s admin is completed faster, all the info they need is available to them at all times. There are lots of intangible benefits from using an app too. A business appears more professional, is better managed and, in turn, customers have greater confidence in them.”

The software firm, an NICEIC Partner and develop the official NICEIC Certification Software add that they have years of experience working with electricians and field service engineers.

Clik Jobs, which works alongside Clik Service will be available on Google Play and iTunes soon. Visit www.cliksoftware.com
