Midwich Security, the surveillance division of the Midwich Group, are offering a complimentary technology day for new and existing customers in the AV (audio-visual) and security channel.

Scheduled for March 6, the day is an offer to get up to speed on the latest developments in convergence between AV and IP surveillance and will include demonstrations of products, from manufacturers such as Grundig, Luminite, Zyxel and SilverNet.

The Midwich Training Academy in Bracknell, Berkshire, includes a command and control centre demo room. Also there on the day, TOA and NEC, AMX and Dexon who will be available to answer any questions on their new products.

The technology day represents a way say organisers for traditional AV sellers to see how seamless the transition to IP CCTV can be, as well as giving security resellers and their end users experience of the latest products, including PIR detectors, videowalls and mesh networking.

Midwich Security Director Mark Thomas, who will also be there throughout the day, said: “The expertise of our technical team, along with the industry knowledge of Midwich Security and, of course, the industry manufacturers themselves, all combine to provide a thoroughly comprehensive day.”

He added: “The advances in IP technology opens up many new opportunities to traditional AV resellers wishing to explore new markets, as well as future-proof solutions for the more experienced security professional. These free technology days always prove highly popular and we encourage anyone to register their interest as quickly as possible in order to avoid disappointment.”

Lunch and refreshments will be provided and parking at the venue is free. To register your place, visit http://bit.ly/WKzsPM
