BCDVideo has released a family of HP-powered IP video and access control servers, the BCD320E8 series. Four sizes of the IP video storage servers are available โ 6TB, 8TB, 9TB, and 12TB. All units include Windows Server 2008, and bi-directional 6G SAS video storage drives. The US-based companyโs five-year worldwide on-site warranty is also standard. The product features a single Intel Xeon processor with a 9554 PassmarkTM CPU Benchmark rating, nearly 48 per cent greater than Intelโs last-generation E5620 chipset.

The firm also released new access control servers based on the same technology. Two models of the BCD320E8-ACS are available; one with 1TB of storage; the other with dual 6G SAS 450GB drives in a RAID 1 format. Both units are also supported by a five-year worldwide on-site warranty.
