Monitor range

by Mark Rowe

UTC Climate, Controls & Security has launched a range of monitors.

With the clarity of images a continuing priority for video system users, the performance and durability of monitors is critical, the firm says. Its HDMI-compatible models are designed to deliver images in HD and full HD resolution with continuous, 24/7 use. Promising 50,000 hours monitor lamp life and a
three-year warranty, the range includes new 17-inch and 19-inch TruVision monitors (TVM) and 26-inch, 32-inch and 42-inch UltraView LCD monitors (UVM). As HDMI compatible devices, these monitors are for displaying the high resolution images captured by the latest IP cameras. All new models feature built-in speakers, VGA for standard PC/recorder connection and BNC loop through. The monitors are VESA wall mount enabled and come with a choice of black housings (TVM models) and industrial metal housings (UVM models) for use in all control room settings.

Mark Staples, manager, pre-sales, UTC Fire & Security UK Ltd, says: “For system designers, the choice of monitor is key to the viewing quality of video systems. These new long-life TruVision and UltraView models will consistently show users the true quality of the images being captured by the video system.”
