Regional sales manager

by Mark Rowe

The digital lock manufacturer Codelocks has appointed Michelle Watkins as its new regional sales manager for the north of England. As well as supporting business development and providing customers with product support, Michelle will also help with the company’s relationships with OEMs, builders’ merchants and architectural ironmongers.

Michelle began her career working for a locksmith wholesaler before moving into sales management with an architectural hardware company and working her way up to the role of national account manager. After working in a different industry for a couple of years, she joined Codelocks on September 1.

Michelle, pictured, said: “Codelocks has an excellent reputation for product quality and customer service, and I’m really looking forward to re-establishing contacts within the industry to further promote and strengthen the company’s brand. Everyone’s been very welcoming and I feel fortunate joining such a great team.”

And Colin Campbell, sales manager, said: “Michelle has over 20 years’ sales experience, which will no doubt help her succeed in her new role. I am looking forward to working with her to grow our sales activities in the north of England. She’s an excellent addition to the team.”

Michelle holds a diploma from the Guild of Architectural Ironmongery (GAI) and the Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS), as well as a diploma in marketing. She lives in South Yorkshire and enjoys yoga and cooking in her spare time.
