Project Manager – Fire, Security and Life Safety Systems | £50,000 basic | Bristol/Bath

You will take full ownership of installation projects from initial sales handover through to commissioning and final client handover. Working closely with sales, design, and engineering teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of allocated projects from start to completion
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement all project activities effectively
  • Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources
  • Collaborate with Sales and Design teams to produce compliant system designs
  • Ensure adherence to standards including EN, BS, HTM and accreditation bodies such as BAFE and NSI
  • Manage labour, subcontractors, and project budgets
  • Monitor progress and ensure deadlines and milestones are achieved
  • Carry out site audits, quality checks, and health and safety reviews
  • Maintain strong client relationships and attend site meetings
  • Ensure all documentation, certification, and O and M manuals are completed accurately

Key Requirements / Skills

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience managing projects within fire, security, or life safety systems
  • Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Project Management qualification or equivalent experience
  • SMSTS certification
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and associated quality systems
  • Good commercial awareness including budgeting and project control
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience within fire, security, or data infrastructure sectors
  • CSCS Card or equivalent
  • Experience using MS Project
  • Membership of Association for Project Management
  • Prince2 or equivalent qualification
