Project Manager – Electronic Security Systems

Our client, a specialist security systems integrator, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of integrated electronic security projects across diverse sectors. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex installations while working with a company that prioritises people, professional development and quality delivery.
Position Overview
As Project Manager, you’ll take full accountability for delivering integrated electronic security projects from installation through to handover. You’ll manage all aspects of project delivery including programme, budget, quality and safety, while acting as the primary point of contact for clients. This role places you at the heart of protecting critical infrastructure and operations across government, commercial, retail, education and healthcare environments.
Responsibilities

Oversee on-site delivery, commissioning and handover of integrated security installation projects

Manage project programme, costs, budget, margin forecasting and variations

Lead day-to-day on-site management of engineers and subcontractors

Serve as primary client contact and attend site progress meetings

Review and approve technical submittals, drawings and system designs

Implement and monitor key project management KPIs
-
Ensure compliance with industry standards, legislation and Health & Safety policies
-
Attend trade shows and manufacturer demonstrations to maintain technical knowledge
Requirements
Essential:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing electronic security systems project delivery
-
Proven track record delivering projects with contract values exceeding £1m
-
Demonstrable experience with enterprise-level CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection systems
-
Experience delivering projects using leading platforms such as Genetec, LenelS2, Gallagher, CCURE, Milestone or Axis
-
Strong experience managing project programmes, budgets, procurement, subcontractors and variations
-
Good understanding of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:

PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent project management qualification

SMSTS certification
-
High-security environment experience
-
Knowledge of network, IP or cyber security
-
JCT or NEC contract experience
-
NSI, CSCS or ECS qualifications
-
Familiarity with BIM and smart building technologies
