Role: Security Systems Designer
Location: Remote / North
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 per annum + Car Allowance or Company Car + Bonus
Technical Resources are partnering with a leading national independent systems integrator, renowned for delivering large-scale, high-security, and enterprise-level electronic security solutions. Due to continued success and expansion, they are seeking an experienced Security Systems Designer to join their highly skilled Design and Bid team.
Responsibilities:

Produce detailed and compliant security system designs for commercial, public sector, and critical infrastructure projects valued between £50,000 and £5,000,000.

Develop technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or equivalent design tools.

Collaborate with internal departments — including Design, Projects, and Sales — to ensure solutions meet client requirements and industry standards.

Support bid and tender submissions with technical input, ensuring designs are both cost-effective and compliant.

Conduct site surveys where necessary to inform design accuracy.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and security standards.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience designing enterprise-level and integrated security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar design software.

Strong understanding of technical design principles, security standards, and risk-based system design.

Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and bid specifications.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
