BYOD pilot

by msecadm4921

Axonex has been selected by Cisco to be one of four partners worldwide to drive the Cisco Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) strategy as part of a global pilot. The aim, the firms say, is to make BYOD a reality for companies and organisations. This is based upon Cisco’s Identity Services Engine (ISE) and AnyConnect Technologies.

Axonex Director, Tom Bane said: “The accelerating growth of IT consumerisation has had a significant impact on users of tablets and personal mobile devices requesting access to company networks. Being invited by Cisco to participate in this global program highlights the recognition by Cisco of our ATP accreditations and market channel leadership position which will allow our customers early access to these solutions.”

This Cisco BYOD pilot invitation follows a recent announcement of Axonex becoming the UK’s First Authorised Technology Provider for Cisco’s Identity Services Engine.
