IFSEC Selection

by msecadm4921

The Teleprecision Site Sentinel digital video recorder and transmitter, was on show on the Panasonic, Optex and V-Ceptor stands at IFSEC 2009.

Teleprecision has been selected by Panasonic as a technology partner and is used exclusively in the V-Ceptor, rapid deployment CCTV tower for its 3G CCTV transmission capability. Teleprecison’s Site Sentinel, BS8418 compatible, DVR transmitters, have ADSL broadband network connectivity with 3G wireless back-up. In rapid deployment applications, the 3G, mobile network becomes the primary connection.

The Site Sentinel "point and shoot" functionality also controls Panasonic "Tracker" domes so the remote CCTV operator quickly highlights an object or person on screen and the Tracker dome zooms in, focuses and follows the moving target.

Jon Martin, Chief Technical Officer at Teleprecision says: "The Site Sentinel range is used by many CCTV monitoring stations. It enables operators to verify site incidents as genuine before a police or emergency service call out is requested. Intruders can be asked to leave a site via speaker, without involving the police, or a mobile patrol service site visit can be requested instead."
