Homebase national contract

by Mark Rowe

The contract firm Brooknight Security reports that it has been awarded the national security contract by Homebase. The award will see Brooknight supplying all manned guarding requirements to Homebase stores in the UK and Ireland (pictured, Cheltenham) and its UK distribution centres. The contract, which commences in January 2017 will also require national support for ad hoc security cover requirements.

David Marchio, National Accounts Director, says: “The award of the Homebase national contract is fantastic news. Both Chris Fieldhouse (Managing Director) and I worked with Homebase for many years in the past and to re-engage with them; it’s really exciting and will give us the opportunity to demonstrate our ability in the home improvement and garden sector. Being awarded the distribution centres as well is a great addition to our already growing supply chain service offering.”
