Role: Fire and Security Design Estimator
Location: South-East
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Fire and Security Designer or a Senior Engineer looking for a new opportunity? As a Fire and Security Design Estimator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality system designs, proposals and tender documentation across a range of fire, security and data projects. You will be working for an established NSI Gold-accredited provider that delivers bespoke system design, installation and support services across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Progress sales enquiries and tender requirements, working closely with Business Development Managers to understand client needs
- Design life safety, security and integrated building systems in line with project and regulatory requirements
- Prepare proposals, quotations and tender documents to company standards and deadlines
- Assess risk factors affecting system design and ensure compliance with applicable technical and regulatory standards
- Review client specification changes and amend system designs accordingly
- Ensure all design documentation is accurate, compliant and technically robust
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems
- Experience reading or producing technical drawings and specifications
- Background in system design, estimating or a senior engineering position within fire & security
