Fire & Security Estimator / Design Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 basic, depending on experience

£45,000 basic for candidates with 1–3 years' relevant experience

Potential to earn up to £50,000 for more experienced candidates

25 days' annual leave
*
1 day working from home, with 3–4 days office-based
Company overview
Our client is an established Fire & Security business with 15 years of industry experience, operating across London and the South East. They hold NSI Gold accreditation and are LPS 1014 certified, allowing them to issue certification for fire detection and alarm systems. They offer an opportunity to develop your technical knowledge while working on a diverse range of projects.
Role overview
*
Produce designs and estimations for fire and/or security systems.
*
Prepare accurate quotations and costings for a variety of projects.
*
Work across projects within offices, hospitals and data centres.
*
Review project requirements and specifications to ensure suitable system designs.
*
Liaise with internal teams and customers to support project delivery.
*
Work with either fire or security systems, as experience in both is not essential.
Experience required
*
Previous experience in fire or security estimating and/or design.
*
A background in either fire or security systems will be considered; experience in both is not required.
*
Suitable for candidates with 1–3 years' relevant experience looking to develop, as well as more experienced Estimators or Design Engineers.
*
Good technical understanding and attention to detail.
*
Strong communication and organisational skills.
