Fire & Security Manager
Location: Buckingham
Salary: £50,000 basic

Company overview
Our client is a well-established Fire & Security company with over 40 years of industry experience, holding both NSI Gold and BAFE SP203-1 accreditation. They have a strong presence across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties. Secure & Recruit has successfully placed three engineers and a manager with the business, giving us an established relationship and first-hand experience of working with their team.
Role overview

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects and workloads are managed effectively.
*
Carry out engineer audits and support NSI audits.
*
Provide technical support to engineers and customers across fire and security systems.
*
Attend site meetings and liaise directly with clients.
*
Organise and coordinate installation engineers' workloads.
*
Manage equipment purchasing and oversee stores.
*
Keep senior management updated on operational progress and ongoing workloads.
*
Occasionally manage projects of varying sizes, from small works through to larger installations.
*
40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
*
Typically, 4 days office-based and 1 day on the road, with the potential to be fully office-based
Experience required
*
Strong technical background across fire and security systems.
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*
Confidence supporting engineers and coordinating workloads.
*
Previous management experience would be beneficial.
Progression opportunities
This opportunity would suit an experienced Fire & Security Manager looking for their next move. However, our client is also open to considering a Supervisor or Senior Engineer looking to take the next step into management, with training and support available for the right candidate.
