Multi-agency working is crucial for ensuring victims of stalking are supported from their point of disclosure until a conviction and beyond, says the personal safety charity the Suzy Lamplugh Trust. A session will cover coordinated police and CPS response by Karen Morgan-Reed, and Lucy Appleton of the CPS; Hannah Sereni, Home Office policy lead for Stalking and ‘Honour’-Based Abuse; and Terri Wilkinson, National Staff Officer to DCC Paul Mills. A separate session will cover health response to stalking, by Dr Alan Underwood, Principle Clinical Psychologist at the Stalking Threat Assessment Centre and the National Stalking Clinic, a lecturer in Forensic Psychology and Mental Health at Queen Mary University of London; Charlotte Chappell, IRISi Advise programme representative; Chermall Williams, Senior Project Manager in the Health team at Standing Together; and Dr Rebecca Morland, Consultant Counselling Psychologist. And a third session will feature Multi-Agency Stalking Intervention Programmes (MASIP), and speakers Detective Sergeant Dave Thomason, Cheshire Constabulary, Harm Reduction Unit; DCI Daniel Thompson, Met Police Deputy Lead Responsible Officer for Domestic Abuse, Stalking and Harassment.
