Role: CCTV Systems Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £28,000 to £34,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Rapid Deployed CCTV Systems Engineer based in Birmingham? This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist security provider delivering temporary and rapid deployment security solutions across construction and vacant property sites. You’ll be working both independently and as part of a team, installing, servicing, and maintaining a range of modern CCTV and rapid deployment security systems.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of rapidly deployed and temporary security systems
- Deployment of Solar CCTV Towers, RSI Videofied, Reconeyez, and BS8418 hard-wired CCTV systems
- Participation in an on-call engineer rota
- Accurate completion of service, maintenance, and fault-finding documentation
- Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting system issues on-site
Experience and Certifications Required:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in security system maintenance or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of IP Hikvision CCTV systems
- Confident using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Willingness to travel
