Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Slough
Rate: £200 p/day
Are you a Data Cabling Engineer looking for work in Slough? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be completing first and second fix CAT6 installation works across a multi-floor commercial environment for a leading technology infrastructure provider.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- 1st and 2nd fix installation of CAT6
- Installation of approx. 400 CAT6 points across 3 factory floors
- Additional 2/3 CAT6 points in office areas across 2 floors
- One-day survey in early January to confirm materials and cabling requirements
Experience required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience installing CAT6 cabling
- Experience working on multi-floor commercial cabling projects
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS card
- Standard hand tools
- Termination tools
- Full PPE
