Role: Embedded Security Systems Engineer
Location: Dublin
Salary: €60,000 – €65,000 per annum
Are you an Embedded Security Systems Engineer based in Dublin looking to take ownership of a high-profile client site? As an Embedded Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-level electronic security systems within a mission-critical environment. You will be working for a leading global systems integrator delivering advanced security solutions to high-profile clients.
Responsibilities:
● Act as the on-site technical lead for electronic security systems
● Provide hands-on support across integration, commissioning, maintenance, and optimisation
● Carry out troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
● Support system upgrades, lifecycle replacements, and enhancement projects
● Manage planned preventative maintenance schedules
● Coordinate with internal teams to deliver scheduled works
● Maintain documentation, reporting, and compliance standards
● Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
● Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota for emergency support
● Build and maintain strong client stakeholder relationships
Experience and Certifications Required:
● A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electronic security industry
● Strong knowledge of IP CCTV, VMS platforms, and access control systems
● Experience in system integration, diagnostics, and networked security environments
● Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and system architecture
● Experience working on mission-critical or high-security sites
● Ability to operate independently as an embedded technical lead
● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
