Enterprise Security Engineer – Installation

The Opportunity
A trusted client partner is expanding its engineering team and is seeking a permanent Enterprise-Level Installation Security Engineer.
This role suits an engineer with strong installation fundamentals who wants to work on high-end, integrated enterprise security systems, with support from senior engineers and clear progression pathways.
The business is centralising all Irish operations from Dublin and moving to a new, larger premises, creating a stable and well-structured environment to grow your career.
The Role
Enterprise Security Engineer – Installation
This is a delivery-focused role aligned to your strengths — not a one-size-fits-all position.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing enterprise-level access control and integrated security systems
- Working on complex, multi-system sites
- Assisting with commissioning and system handover
- Supporting senior engineers on larger or critical projects
- Developing deeper knowledge of enterprise platforms over time
- Working to quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Representing the business professionally on client sites
Planned travel is involved, with overnight stays where required (not long-term).
Systems & Technical Requirements
Experience or working knowledge of:
- Genetec
- Lenel
- C•CURE
Plus:
- Paxton & ACT (baseline expectation)
- Integrated security environments (access control, CCTV, system integration)
Certification is not essential — practical experience, attitude, and system understanding are key.
A technical screening may be introduced to assess real-world capability.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong foundational installation knowledge
- Open to 3rd or 4th year apprentices with clear drive and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working on enterprise / high-end systems
- Full clean driving licence
- Professional, reliable, and client-facing
Location & Travel
- Office based in Dublin
- Majority of work across Leinster
- Some projects in Munster
- Occasional travel to the West of Ireland
- Overnight stays are planned and reasonable
