Role: Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £36,000 to £44,000 per annum
We’re looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer. You’ll be responsible for commissioning, testing, and handing over a range of fire alarm systems across commercial, residential, and public sector sites.
Responsibilities:

Commission and test addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.

Program fire panels and integrate with associated life safety systems.

Work closely with installation engineers to identify and resolve issues.

Complete commissioning certificates, test sheets, and handover documentation.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers to ensure smooth delivery.

Adhere to company and industry health & safety standards.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer.

Strong technical knowledge of BS5839 and current fire safety standards.

Experience with leading fire alarm panels (e.g., Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Gent, etc.).
-
ECS or CSCS card.
-
FIA or equivalent commissioning training.

Full UK driving licence.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
